  • Why should I book using this website?

    By booking using this website you will get the best price and friendly service!  You are also dealing directly with the accommodation provider, which gives you more control over your booking.

  • What is the earliest I can Check-in?

    Standard check-in time is 2pm. Earlier check-in times are dependent upon room availability. If you have an event to attend, please let us know and we will endeavour to meet your requests.

  • Can I arrive late?

    Yes, please give us a call during office hours if you are wanting to arrive after Reception closes at 7pm, we have an after-hours room access arrangement.

  • Are your rooms non-smoking?

    Yes, all rooms at The Matador are non-smoking.

  • Do you have a restaurant?

    No however we have a light filled breakfast room that is open daily from 7.30am – 9.30am for complimentary continental breakfast. We are also within walking distance to a wide variety of eateries.

  • Do you have wireless internet in guest rooms?

    Yes we provide complimentary wi-fi to all of our rooms.

  • How close are you to the shops?

    We are within walking distance to retail, supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants. 

  • How close are you to restaurants?

    We are within walking distance to several pubs, restaurants, cafes, and fast-food outlets including Sale Curry House, Happy Days Café, The Criterion Hotel, Inside Out, The Star Hotel, Redd Catt, McDonalds, Viet Kitchen, Burrito Bar, La Porchetta, Wild Honey, Jack Ryan’s Irish Bar, The Jolly Dolly takeaway, Lakeside Club, Hungry Jack’s, KFC and our personal favourite Mamma Santos.   • Do you have Streaming Services capabilities?

    Yes all our rooms have smart tv’s that connect to the internet for your favourite streaming services.

  • What is your Cancellation Policy?

    Cancellations or changes to a Reservation must be made at least 48 hours prior to Check-in date & time (2.00pm) or the 1st changed or cancelled night will be charged. For Group Bookings where payment is required 14 days prior to arrival time, then cancellations or changes must be at least 14 days prior to arrival date & time, or the full amount of the entire Reservation may be charged.

  • How do I guarantee my booking?

    Credit card details are required to secure room booking or a minimum $250 cash bond.

  • Do you have a gym?

    No however Sale Health & Fitness is only 350m from our doorstep.
